Jamie Colby
Colby has been with Fox News since July 2003 as a National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby served as anchor, reporter and correspondent for CBS News prior to moving to FOX News Channel. Colby worked as a stand-in on CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is a lawyer licensed to practice law throughout New York, California, Florida as well as the District of Columbia. In 2002 she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her work on the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Colby also received the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000, as well as her Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News-Show Stars to Follow". Colby worked as an attorney who, in addition to her career as a journalist, worked for 10 years at a private practice. Her legal practice started with an Hollywood entertainment firm that assigned Colby for The Tonight Show. She worked with Johnny Carson at the age of 22 both during his contract renewal and divorce from NBC. In January 2015, Colby has served as host and reporter on The Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance. It focuses on the bizarre or unexpected legacies left behind by relatives or friends
