Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last term of junior high. Dina Meyer is the younger sibling of Gregory as well as an older brother, named Evan. She began her career in entertainment when she was 9 years old, and began modeling. Her acting education began with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she studied the acting skills of Sanford Meisner together in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Others who have received this education include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among other people. When she moved from Los Angeles, she got her first part in Beverly Hills, 90210. After securing the lead role on Johnny Mnemonic where she did most of the stunts on herself, she positioned her self as an actor who is athletic. Alongside Matt LeBlanc's talent agency, her agent was in charge of a variety of regular roles on Friends.
